Joint Committee on Finance Public Hearing on State Budget
The Wisconsin Legislature Joint Committee on Finance is holding a public hearing on the state budget in Milwaukee on April 5th at State Fair Park – Exposition Center 8200 West Greenfield Avenue from 10 AM – 5 PM.
Block off the day and turn out early to register to speak about priorities in the state budget for Wisconsinites with mental health needs. See the link to the Survival Coalition of Wisconsin Disability Groups for a great overview of key issues in the budget for your testimony.
Keep it short! You have only three minutes to speak. And arrive early – hundreds of people turn out to speak. You can also submit written comments to BudgetComments@legis.wisconsin.gov or send a handwritten letter to: Joe Malkasian, Room 305 East, State Capitol, Madison, WI 53702.
